Create a dedicated area in the diary for bookings that doesn’t affect your overall availability. This is useful for spaces like drinks only areas, where bookings don’t impact kitchen capacity and shouldn’t limit availability in your main dining area.
Create your limit free area
Follow the steps below to create your area without cover or booking limits:
Click Settings, then Areas.
Select a segment if applicable.
Click Create New.
Complete the text field for your area Name and Description.
On maximum covers select the maximum party size you could accomodate in this area.
Enable the following options by ticking the box beside it:
Send email notifications to customers: Guest will receive their confirmation email, do the same for SMS if you have this add on feature.
Include this area in availability search: Enables availability for this area.
Available for online bookings: Turns this area online.
Ensure include in max covers calculations is disabled.
Click Save.
