Report your unallocated and orphaned bookings

You can create your unallocated or orphaned booking report.

This article explains how to generate reports for unallocated and orphaned bookings in ResDiary. These reports help identify bookings that have been displaced due to changes in service times, table assignments, or segment updates allowing you to quickly locate and resolve issues without manually checking each day in the diary.

Create your unallocated booking report

You can use this report when you've made changes to your service times or completed a booking import resulting into your booking to become unallocated. Follow the steps below to generate your unallocated booking report:

  1. Click Reports, then Booking Report.

  2. Click Booking details from the top left.

  3. Complete the following options from the right window:

    • Venue: Choose the diary from the list.

    • Date type: Report by booking date or visit date.

    • Date range: Select a range of dates.

  4. Click Add Filter.

  5. Filter by booking status.

  6. Select unallocated from the submenu.

  7. Click Run Report.

Create your orphaned booking report

You can use this report when your bookings became unallocated because you've created or edited a segment. Follow the steps below to create your orphaned booking report:

  1. Click Reports, then Orphaned Bookings Report.

  2. Enter your date range.

  3. Click Generate Report.
