To better manage your availability, you can use promotions to restrict bookings based on custom party sizes or by setting a maximum number of covers. This allows you to tailor your offers to suit your operational needs and ensure a smooth service.
⚠️ Important: If a booking exceeds your party size or cover limits, it may still go through under standard availability. To block this, request a standard availability blocker by emailing [email protected].
Limit by party size
Follow the steps below to set a limit on the number of covers allowed per reservation:
Click Promote, then Promotions.
Edit your promotion by clicking the Edit
icon.Select one of the options on the dropdown menu under number of people from the following:
At most: Set the maximum amount of covers allowed.
At least: Set the minimum amount of covers allowed.
Matches: Set the exact amount of cover size allowed.
In range: Covers within that set range are allowed.
Don't care: Disables the usage of this setting.
Enter the number of covers in the box next to the dropdown menu.
Click Save.
For example, in the image below the promotion is configured to be available for party sizes up to ten covers:
Limit by total amount of covers
Follow the steps below to set a daily or per service limit on the number of covers that can book a promotion:
Click Promote, then Promotions.
Edit your promotion by clicking the Edit
icon.Select one the options on the dropdown menu under total covers available from the following:
Per day: Set amount of covers allowed per day.
Per service: Set amount of covers allowed per service, e.g. Lunch, Dinner.
No limit: Disables the usage of this setting.
Enter the number of covers in the box next to the dropdown menu.
Click Save.
For example, in the image below the promotion is configured to appear for up to 30 covers per day.
