Export your Mailchimp marketing mailer

You can import your Malichimp marketing template in ResDiary.

Export your mailer from Mailchimp to ResDiary use your email designs across both platforms, saving you time and ensuring a consistent look for your campaigns. This guide explains how you take your completed Mailchimp template, export the HTML code, and embed it directly into ResDiary.

⚠️ Important: You can only export HTML code from Mailchimp while using the classic builder templates not the new builder templates.

Export your Mailchimp template

Follow the steps below to import your Mailchimp template into ResDiary:

  1. Once your template is created, click Template from the top left.

  2. Click Save this design as a template.

  3. From Mailchimp main page, click Content.

  4. Click Email Templates.

  5. Click the down arrow next to your template.

  6. Click Export as HTML.

  7. Save the file then open it.

  8. Highlight the whole code by pressing CTRL plus A, then Copy it.

  9. From ResDiary click Promote, then Manage Templates.

  10. Click Add.

  11. Name your template.

  12. Click Source and paste your code there.

  13. Click Add Template.


Add your unsubscribe link

Follow the steps below to add an unsubscribe URL to your email template:

  1. Click Promote, then Manage Templates.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Highlight the text you want to hyperlink.

  4. Click the Link icon from your toolbar.

  5. Change protocol to other.

  6. Paste {UNSUBSCRIBE_URL} into the URL field.

  7. Click OK.

πŸ€“ Tip: Add in the {COUNTER} token at the foot of your template to improve your tracking of the emails in your marketing campaign.
