Test your pre-order diner's journey

You can easily test your pre-order flow.

Before going live with your pre-order setup, it's important to test the full diner journey to ensure everything works as expected. This allows you to experience the process from the guestโ€™s perspective, identify any issues, and confirm that menus, emails, and order submissions are functioning correctly.

โš ๏ธ Warning: Ensure you have signed up for the pre-order add-on before moving forward. Once it has been added to your subscription it appears on the diary by clicking on Settings, then Pre-orders.

Create your own pre-order booking

Follow the steps below to test your pre-order booking flow:

  1. From your diary main page, click Book.

  2. Add your booking details and customer details, ensure you add your email.

  3. Click Add menu from the bottom of your booking form.

  4. Select your menu, then click Pre-Order.

  5. Complete your booking.

  6. Go to your email inbox, then open the pre-order requested email.

  7. Click Submit Pre-Order.

  8. Click the Send icon to share the menu with other guests.

  9. Click Manage guests to add other guests for your pre-order list.

  10. Click Add order next to each guest.

  11. Click Add next to each dish you want to select.

  12. Click Done when ready.

  13. Click Review and Complete Order, then Complete Order to finalise.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: You will see notes in orange from the right hand side menu with all the required actions needed to complete the pre-order.
