Once your customer's have a pre-order attached to their booking, you can monitor and manage them directly from the booking or via the pre-order reports section. These tools allow you to view order details, check status, resend emails, and print summaries.
β οΈ Warning: Ensure you have signed up for the pre-order add-on before moving forward. Once it has been added to your subscription it appears on the diary by clicking on Settings, then Pre-orders.
Manage your pre-orders
Follow the steps below to view and edit your existing reports:
Click the booking.
Click the Edit
icon.Click Pre-order
You can complete a few actions:
Status: Check if the pre-order is created or completed.
Reminder: Click Resend Email to send a pre-order reminder.
Print: Click Print to print out a copy of the pre-order.
View order: Click View Order to open the viewing order.
Manage your pre-order view page
Follow the steps below to manage your view order:
Click the booking, then the View Pre-Order
icon.You have a few options:
From the top right you can see the status of the pre-order.
Click Guest Form to open the pre-order form.
On the top you can see all the general booking details.
You can review the dishes and courses if added already.
At the bottom you can add the pre-order for your customer.
β οΈ Important: If you get an error when attempting to open the guest form then their cut-off time has probably been reached, you'll now have to complete the pre-order on their behalf.
Report on your pre-orders
Follow the steps below to report on your pre-orders:
Click Reports, then New Pre-order Report.
There are two types of pre orders reports:
List: List of all your booking with pre-orders attached.
Dishes: List of all your pre-order dishes for a date range.
Create your pre-order list report
Follow the steps below to report on your list of pre-orders:
Click Reports, then New Pre-order Report.
Click Pre-orders List on the top left.
Complete the following fields:
Venue: Select your diary.
Date type: Either visit date or booking made date.
Date range: Select your period of dates.
Click Add Filter to add preferences on your results.
Click Edit columns and their order.
Customise your columns, then click Done.
Click Run Report.
You can take a few actions:
Click the Down arrow
icon to expand on the customer pre-order.Click the Edit
icon to open the view order page.Click the History
icon to open the customer's pre-order history.Click Export, then Export as CSV to download your report.
Click Print, to print out your report.
Click Place cards, to create your place cards.
Create your pre-order dishes report
Follow the step below to report on all the pre-order dishes selected within a data range:
Click Reports, then New Pre-order Report.
Click Pre-orders Dishes from the top left.
Complete the following fields:
Venue: Select your diary.
Date type: Either visit date or booking made date.
Date range: Select your period of dates.
Click Add Filter to add preferences on your results.
Click Edit columns and their order.
Customise your columns, then click Done.
Click Run Report.
You can take a few actions:
Click Export, then Export as CSV to download your report.
Click Print, to print out your report.
