Access Identity is our new authentication system designed to offer improved security, better usability, and enhanced access control. As part of this migration, we will ask you to reset your password and confirm that your email is valid and accessible. This quick and simple step will help us ensure that all users have a secure and verified account moving forward.
Migration preparation
This section outlines what you need to check and how to begin the migration process:
Ensure the email address linked to your ResDiary account is valid and accessible. If not, either regain access to that inbox or create a new user account with a valid email.
There is specific guidance available to help you migrate your user into Access Identity.
You can continue using your current login credentials for now. However, migration will become mandatory in the future.
Account behaviour and troubleshooting
The following covers what to expect once you've completed the migration:
Access Identity only affects your login credentials. Integrations with third-party software should remain unaffected unless they rely on specific login details, in which case you may need to update authentication settings.
All user roles and permissions within ResDiary remain unchanged after migration.
If you forget your password follow the steps below:
Go to our login page.
Click Forgot Password.
You'll receive an email with reset instructions.
You can use the same password as before as long as it meets Access Identity security standards, we recommend your create a strong password.
You can update your email recovery for password reset from your Access Identity profile settings, if you no longer have access to your original recovery email, you may need to contact customer support for assistance.
If you delete a migrated user ensure you wait at least 15 minutes before creating another user with the same email address.
