You can now add a short custom message to any promotion that appears in your transactional emails only when a customer books that specific promotion.
This gives you the flexibility to highlight important details, share exclusive information, or reinforce the value of the promotion without cluttering every email. By tailoring the message to the chosen promotion, you ensure customers receive relevant information at the right time, creating a more engaging and professional experience.
π§© How does it work
When you edit a promotion, you'll see a new field called "Email token details" where you can add your custom text. This message then appears automatically in your transactional emails whenever a customer books using that promotion.
You can include up to 200 characters of custom text per promotion.
π― Why use it
This feature is especially valuable for promotions that need specific guest communication, such as:
Christmas bookings: Share festive T&Cs, buffet details, or seasonal messages
Event promotions: Include arrival instructions or dress code requirements
Credit card bookings: Confirm that card details have been taken to secure the reservation
π How to get started
If this is your first time using this feature, contact our support team at [email protected] so we can add the required token to your email templates. This step is essential for the feature to work.
Once enabled, go to Promote > Promotions > Edit your promotion > add your text to the email token details field > Save.
