When Stripe is connected to your diary, you can require diners to provide card details to secure their booking. This process is supported by Strong Customer Authentication, SCA, ensuring that all payments are handled securely and in line with EU regulations. By combining Stripe with SCA, your business gains stronger protection against late cancellations and no shows, while offering diners a safe and trusted booking experience.

Attach card details requirement to your promotion
Promotions are one of the most versatile features in ResDiary. The ability to tokenise promotions is especially valuable, as it allows you to apply card requirements based on area, party size, and specific dates or times.
⚠️Warning: Before moving forward you'll need to connect Stripe to your diary.
Click on Promote, then Promotions.
Edit your promotion by clicking the Edit
icon.Find the dropdown menu under payment / card details on the info tab.
From the dropdown menu select Credit Card Required.
Click Save.
