We have recently introduced a new soft opt-in marketing feature for the booking widget. This privacy compliant option pre-ticks the venue level marketing consent box, allowing customers to opt out by unticking it, rather than opting in. Following ICO guidance, only venue level marketing will use this soft opt-in setting, while group-level marketing will still require manual customer consent. Businesses can review or update their opt-in levels, but any changes made will apply across all linked diaries.

Enable soft opt-in
Before reading the following steps please ensure you have already created your booking widget.
Click Promote, then Widget Configurator.
Click the Edit
icon next to your widget name.Click Contact Details Settings.
Enable email soft opt-In.
Click Continue.
π Note: If your widget is already published on your website, then it will automatically update.
