The only way that your gift vouchers are redeemed is manually by you and your team. It's very important that you keep on top of your vouchers to ensure they are redeemed upon use. There are two ways of redeeming your voucher codes:
From within your booking payments.
From your voucher settings
β οΈ Warning: Ensure you have signed up for the voucher add-on before moving forward. Once it has been added to your subscription it appears on the diary by clicking on Promote, then Vouchers.
Redeem from your voucher settings
Follow the steps below to redeem your voucher from your settings:
Click Promote, then Vouchers.
Click Search Voucher References.
Enter your voucher in the text field.
Click Search.
Click Redeem.
π Note: If your voucher was already redeemed then the option to redeem will not show, but you'll see when this voucher was previously redeemed and which user actioned it instead.
Redeem from your booking payments
We advise using this feature if the customer's booking has a pending payment, you can also add a payment request manually when needed. Follow the steps below to redeem you voucher from the booking form:
Click the booking, then the Edit icon.
Click Payments.
Click Add Payment.
Find ResDiary Voucher Code from the payment column.
Add your voucher reference in the text field.
Click Complete, then Save.
π Note: If you redeem a voucher from the booking payments page and the booking is then cancelled, you won't have the option to redeem, extend or cancel your voucher from the main settings.
