ResDiary Plus is our native iPad application for restaurant managers, owners and hosts. Designed to sync directly to your ResDiary online reservation diary system this app helps the management of your restaurant services and allows you to make bookings in online or offline mode, check and edit booking and customer details, allocation of tables, update of mail statuses, view expected arrivals list and much more.
There are three main methods to create your walk-in on ResDiary Plus:
Reserve with the walk-in
icon.Reserve from the grid view.
Reserve from the table plan view.
Reserve from the walk-in icon
Follow the steps below to create a walk-in from the button on ResDiary Plus:
Click the Walk-in
icon from the top right.Select the number of covers.
Click Standard to change the duration time if needed.
Click the Table
icon to change the table allocated if needed.Click Seat Walk-In.
🤓 Tip: You will see a confirmation message on the top once the booking is complete.
Reserve walk-ins from the table plan
Follow the steps below to create a walk-in from the table plan view on ResDiary Plus:
Ensure you have selected the table plan view.
Click the Cover
icon from the bottom left.Select the number of covers.
Select a table for your walk-in.
Click Seat Now.
Reserve walk-ins from the grid view
Follow the steps below to create a walk-in from the grid view on ResDiary Plus:
Ensure you have selected the grid view.
Click on the table at the correct time slot.
Click Seat Walk-In.
📌 Note: The system will automatically assume that the party size is the same as the maximum capacity of the table selected.
