Customize your notification settings to stay informed about important activities in your diary. You can choose to receive notifications for various events, such as new bookings, closeouts, customer feedback, and more. Additionally, you can set the timing for reminder and post dining emails or disable them if needed. This flexibility ensures you stay updated on the information that matters most to your operations.
β οΈ Important: You can only send SMS communications if you have signed up for the correct add-on feature on your diary.
Edit your booking notifications
Follow the steps below to manage email notifications you receive for your bookings:
Click Settings, then Notifications.
Click Notification Settings.
From booking notifications select the number of covers.
Select what action you want to be notified about.
Insert your email address on the text field.
Click Add.
π€ Tip: If you don't want to receive notification of new bookings made but want to receive notification of amendments and for cancellations, tick internal bookings and online bookings, but do not tick forward bookings made to the following email address.
Manage your general notifications
Follow the steps below to manage your general notifications:
Click Settings, then Notifications.
Click Notification Settings.
Select a notification from the following:
Feedback: Get notified when a new review is added.
Summary: Get a daily summary of your bookings.
Close Out: Get a notification when a new close out is created.
VIP: Get notified when a VIP books.
Insert your email address in the text field.
Click Add.
Click Save.
Set your customer notifications
Follow the steps below to set your reminder and post dining notifications:
Click Settings, then Notifications.
Click Notification Settings.
Select a notification from the following:
Reminders: Enable send reminder minutes before arrival and set the number.
Post Booking: Enable send post booking email mins before departure and set the number.
Click Save.
π Note: Your customers receive confirmation and cancellation email notifications by default.
Manage your add-on notifications
Follow the steps below to manage your notifications for pre orders and event enquiries:
Click Settings, then Notifications.
Click Notification Settings.
Select a notification from the following:
Pre orders: Get notified when a pre order is submitted.
Event enquiry: Get a notification when a new enquiry is created.
Insert your email address in the text field.
Click Add.
Click Save.
