The online standby list allows guests to add themselves to waitlist when a time slot is fully booked. Availability is determined by yield management settings, close outs, and the days selected for online bookings. Once activated, the standby list appears in the diary, where entries can be managed, edited, or removed. Your guests can be manually notified when a table becomes available, with clear instructions to make a new reservation.

Set up your standby list by watching the video below or follow the steps provided.

Control your standby list availability

There are three main feature that control your standby list availability:

  • Yield Management: Only 50% of your maximum yield setting for each interval will be offered to your customers, for example if you accept ten covers per interval only five will be offered for standby.

  • Close outs: Standby will not appear if you have an active close out.

  • Online Settings: Only the days you accept online bookings will appear for standby.
