Obtain a payment from your pre-orders

You can manually charge your customer's card for their pre-order amount.

Automate your booking journey so customers are aware that their card will be charged for the final value of their pre-order before arrival. This guide explains how to notify customers of this charge, where to find the final pre-order amount, and how to manually charge the customerโ€™s card for that amount.

โš ๏ธ Important: Before you begin please ensure you have Stripe connected and setup on your diary, additionally please ensure you have signed up for the pre-order add-on. Once it has been added to your subscription it appears on the diary by clicking on Settings, then Pre-orders.

Notify your customers

There are a few methods you can use to notify your customers of this charge:

Process your payment

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Please ensure your promotion requires card details in order to complete your reservation.

Once your customers have completed their pre order form you can follow the steps below to charge their card:

  1. Click your customer's booking.

  2. Click the View Pre-Order icon.

  3. Below your courses note down the total amount.

  4. Go back to your grid view and click on your booking.

  5. Click the Edit icon.

  6. Click Payments.

  7. Click Charge Card.

  8. Type the total amount, then click Charge.

  9. Click Save.

๐Ÿค“ Tip: You should see the green bag icon on your booking if the payment was successful.
