ResPhone is designed to solve a common and costly problem in the hospitality industry: missed calls mean missed bookings. When a customer calls a restaurant and doesn’t get through, they often move on, taking their business elsewhere. ResPhone ensures that every call has the potential to convert into a confirmed reservation. Instead of reaching an answering machine, callers are guided through a seamless booking process directly from their phone. The reservation is instantly synced with your ResDiary, following all your existing rules and availability settings.

⚠️ Important: Complete the sign-up form to add ResPhone to your diary.

Cost and setup

This section covers the general information about ResPhone pricing, setup and general functionalities:

  • ResPhone comes at the cost of £35 plus VAT per month per diary. The only other cost is for diverted calls, charged at standard rate by your phone line provider.

  • We've created guidance about the sign up process.

  • Even if your ResPhone number is advertised on your website or social media, customers may still call your regular number for general enquiries.

  • ResPhone operates on a separate number, therefore no special hardware or phone line is needed. You can:

    • Divert calls from your existing line to ResPhone.

    • Use it as a dedicated bookings line.

Booking experience and functionality

Below are key details about how ResPhone handles reservations, caller interactions, and message customisation:

  • You won't get overbooking as ResPhone follows your existing rules and yield management settings, just like online bookings.

  • Multiple customers can book through ResPhone at the same time, so busy lines won’t block bookings.

  • The restaurant name will be customised, however the automated message has been designed to be the optimal message for reservations service. It will say:

    • Welcome to venue name, then guide the customer through the booking process.
