Overview
We’ve improved how booking times appear in the cross-sell widget to give guests a clearer, more accurate experience. Instead of displaying the full 1am-11pm range, the widget now shows only the hours your venue operates - based on your real service times. This change helps reduce confusion, avoids unnecessary scrolling, and makes booking smoother for guests.
What’s changed
Previously:
The widget always displayed a fixed 1am-11pm time range, regardless of when your venue was open.
Guests often saw hours where no service was available.
Now:
The widget automatically adjusts to show times from your earliest service start to your latest service end.
Guests only see times that match your actual operating hours.
Why this matters
Cleaner experience: Guests won’t scroll past irrelevant times when you’re closed.
More accurate availability: Times displayed now reflect the way your venue runs.
Faster bookings: Guests get to the right choice more quickly.
How it works
The widget uses your venue’s service configuration to determine your operational hours.
It then generates a time dropdown that only includes the times you actively serve guests.
This applies to:
Standard services
Split services
Venues with extended or irregular hours
Multi‑day or late‑night services
What you need to do
Nothing — this update is automatic and applies to all venues using the cross-sell widget.
FAQs
Does this update change how availability is calculated?
No. It only affects which times are displayed, not the underlying booking rules.
Do I need to update my widget settings?
No. Everything adjusts automatically.
