Create your services

Manage and refine your service settings.

Services is the table management function that gives you control over how your dining sessions are structured and managed. Within services, you can adjust your opening and closing hours, set how long guests are expected to stay, and apply rules around departure times. You can also use yield management to balance guest demand with operational efficiency, ensuring that tables turn over smoothly while maximising covers and revenue.

Create your basic service

Follow the steps below to create your basic service:

  1. Click Settings, then Services.

  2. Select a segment if applicable.

  3. Add a name and description.

  4. From service mapping select the correct option.

  5. Complete the following service times:

    • From and Until times: These reflect the length of your service.

    • Last booking time: This is the last bookable interval of time.

    • Average Time: This is the standard booking duration.

    • Interval: Controls the frequency of booking slots, can only be 15, 30 or 60.

  6. Click Leave time confirmation required if you want to notify your customers when they need to leave.

  7. Click Save.

⚠️ Warning: When creating your last service for the day, like dinner, ensure your until time is set at least your larger average time duration from your last booking time. For example, if you last booking time is at 22:00 and your largest time duration is 90 minutes, set your until time to at least 23:30.
