Record how your customers found you

You can record how your guests discovered you.

You can record how your guests discovered you using the heard about you feature in the diary. This helps you monitor booking trends and generate more detailed reports. A default list is included in your diary, which can be edited if needed.

⚠️ Important: This feature is available for internal bookings only. Online bookings do not support it.

Add your discovery option

Follow the steps below to add a new hear about us option:

  1. Click Settings, then How did you hear.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Add your option name.

  4. Click Add.


Delete your discovery option

Follow the steps below to delete your hear about us option:

  1. Click Settings, then How did you hear.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click Delete.


Add your tracking option on your booking

Follow the steps below to record how your customer found you on an internal booking:

  1. From the diary main page, click Book.

  2. From the customer details window, click Detail.

  3. Complete the text field beside how did you hear from us.

  4. Complete the booking as normal.

πŸ“Œ Note: Your heard about us option is attached to the customer profile, therefore it will reappear automatically for new bookings using that same profile.


Create your report for your discovery options

Follow the steps below to create a report on how your customers found you:

  1. Click Reports, then Booking report.

  2. Click Booking details from the top left.

  3. Complete the following fields:

    1. Venues: Select for what venue this report is.

    2. Date Type: Select what date range you want to use

  4. Click Add Filter.

  5. Filter by how did your hear about us.

  6. Select your discovery option from the list.

  7. Click Run Report.
