While your opening and closing hours are typically set during training, your operational needs can change. Whether you're opening earlier, closing later, or varying hours across different days, this guide walks you through how to update your hours in your system. If you're making broader changes to your operations like altering table layouts or yield settings you may need a new segment.
Set your first and last booking time
You can set your first and last booking times within your service settings, this acts as the core schedule that defines the broadest possible working hours for your entire week.
Change your first booking time
Follow the steps below to update your first booking time:
Click Settings, then Services.
Select a segment if applicable.
Click the Edit
icon next to your first service.Change your from time to your first booking time.
Click Save.
Change your last booking time
Follow the steps below to update your last booking time:
Click Settings, then Services.
Select a segment if applicable.
Click the Edit
icon next to your last service.Change your last booking time.
Ensure the distance from your until time covers your longest table duration.
Click Save.
β οΈ Important: You can't add a reservation past the last booking time or prior to your first booking time.
Manage your working hours with close outs
You can use close outs to adjust opening and closing hours for specific days of the week or just for a specific date. There are two kind of close outs:
Recurring close outs: Block your reservations periodically for the same days and times of the week.
Daily close out: Block your reservations for one specific day, area or service.
Update your schedule on Dish Cult
Ensure your customers see your updated schedule when booking through your Dish Cult microsite by following the steps below:
Click Settings, then Venue and Dish Cult listing details.
Update your opening times from the text field.
Scroll at the bottom and click Update.
