Payments Now Available with Reserve with Google!

We’ve expanded our integration with Reserve with Google to support deposit payments. This means venues can now show more availability on Google and secure bookings with upfront payments — using the same deposit setup they already have in ResDiary.


💡 What’s New?

Until now, ResDiary venues could list availability on Google — but only if that availability didn’t require payment. Now, with this update, deposit-enabled time slots will appear in the Google feed, and diners will be redirected to complete payment before confirming.


🧾 How Does It Work?

  1. Diner finds your venue on Google Search or Maps

  2. They choose an available time — even one that requires a deposit

  3. If payment is needed, they’re redirected to a secure landing page

  4. After paying the deposit, the booking is confirmed in your diary

No special setup is needed once it’s enabled. We’ll use your existing:

  • Deposit rules

  • Stripe integration

  • Standard availability settings


🔐 Are Payments Secure?

Yes — all transactions go through Stripe, using your connected account.


🛠 How Can I Enable This?
